Kanjourney is the journey of my life between kanjira and me,kanjira is not apart
from my body its part of mine and thats my soul,I move with my instrument
like a human i never felt that an a object and that works,its really speaks
to me and always convey something to me,which i convey to audience,

Kanjourney will have a different volumes,this album (vol 1)
will speak about traditional way of approach to different Nadais
(The concept of changing the inner plus divisions governing
the tala aksharas in a cycle without changing the tempo of
the tala ) in Chathurshra Eka Talam ( 4 beat Cycle)

Selvaganesh gained world fame through tours with John McLaughlin's group, Remember Shakti.[2] He helps his father, Grammy- winner T.H. "Vikku" Vinayakram, to run the Sri JGTV school and train a new generation of Carnatic percussionists.
